Had to get outside for a minute

Only to the garden where I found this flowerhead. Can't remember what it' called. Might be a snowball shrub as I know we had one out there but thi seemed to be flowering slightly off from where I remembered it being and I thought it had been dug out because it kept getting blackfly on it.
Anyway, it was just good to breathe fresh air.

Had some good news for once and unexpectedly too. I'd had another rough night head full of scenes of mum being taken away and her being scared and confused and it all being my fault.

So after getting up one of our district nurses phoned, the head nurse it was asking why mum's GP had instructed them about her insulin so I explained everything and my fears and he reassured me that Social Services have a Star service they put in place to help after someone comes out of hospital or while they are in to cover their absence.
He didn't think mum would be taken away at all and if I paid for a live in carer for the week social services should accept it if mum's needs are being looked after.

The social services cover would reduce my costs while they were coming out to see to mum and it could be for two or maybe at a push three weeks.
It's something positive and reassuring.
