Steam Engine Spa Day

Visited my friends Bill and Martin at their steam engine workshop today. Arrived to find them playing 'ploughing engines' testing out a new cable in the pouring rain.

I jumped onboard Martin's engine and took shelter under the canopy from the persistent rain. It smelt like a sauna with the wooden canopy and the engine noise on tick over was like a lullaby. See my video on Instagram here.

We tucked into jam donuts once the engines were put away. Who needs a spa day when there's traction engines?
