Guildhall Derby

Had a day out with Adam Henson today - I drove him up to Derby where he was one of the guest speakers at a WI conference.

During lunch I sat next to the morning speaker, Jan Meek - what a lady in her 50's she's rowed the Atlantic with her son in 101 days and then in her 60's she's walked twice to the North Pole - once to the magnetic north and the other to the geographical north - and at the moment she's in training to walk to the South Pole - what a lady - if only I didn't have this gammy knee!
