Calne (Friday 17th November 2017)

I had a few things to do in Calne including visiting the Friday Market in the morning, and I wandered up Church Street to St Mary's and for the first time in months I was delighted to find Eric the peregrine falcon sitting atop the west tower close to the flag pole, but unfortunately as far as photography was concerned he was facing inwards and in the shade, so the pictures I got were not good. I wandered around the churchyard and got some shots of the oak leaves.
R. came in the afternoon this week and helped me plant hundreds of bulbs and collect heaps of leaves.
