Soggy Saturday

I love this Cotinus... It is a wonderful dark red all summer then turns through this pinky colour to gold and yellow before dropping its leaves for the winter.  I think it is at its best with water glistening on its leaves.. and today it is the only thing that is shining.  Dull grey light and heavy cloud all day.  Just the perfect day to sit and watch Scotland play NZ at rugby... a very exciting match and close too.. bad luck though not to get the final try by Hogg in the closing minutes.. well done NZ
