Clouds over Marchmont

Beautiful cirrus cloud formations racing across the sky as I walked down to the allotment this morning. Sadly I only had enough time to pick the last of the bright orange calendula which I then festooned over the birthday cake I made yesterday.   The rest of the day was spent finishing off canapé preparations and then hauling it all down to the Grange for the party.  I think it all went down well.  Gutted to have missed the rugby and the post-match knees up with the gang.
