Now that was a game!

If ever the Scots needed inspiration then they need not have looked any further than Doddie Weir, accompanied by his sons,  presenting the match ball (see extra). Fearless on the park in a Scotland strip he continues to show what a fighter he is as he takes his battle against Motor Neurone Disease head on.

The All Blacks opened proceedings with their legendary rendition of YMCA the Haka.

Ultimately the Scots brave performance fell agonisingly short of the mighty Kiwis but it wasn't through lack of effort.
