Ullswater

Persuaded Rick not to take me scrambling so we went for a walk instead! (I don't think i would have been writing this if we had gone scrambling! i do not do well with heights and fear of falling!) We started off at Aira Force and worked our way up a hill we do not know the name of next to Helvellyn (very glad we didn't venture up there unawares!) Got to say, i did have a good time and got some good shots of the autumn light. Got to see some very pretty wild ponies (which may feature in tomorrows blip as I fully intend to recover on the couch all day...!) Then drove to Great Langdale and had dinner at Sticklebarn Pub. A well deserved stew, cake a cuppa!
