Jug of Flowers

Second lesson in the flower photography course, a jug of flowers, illuminated by a reflector on the dark side against a light patterned background.

Early to Loughborough to buy the foamboard for the reflector and the flowers. The flowers were in a seriously poor condition, with leaves on the stem beginning to rot. I felt sorry for them. I must try to find a first class florist in the area.

It takes a while to set up and take the photo. The background is one of the pieces of haberdashery that I bought at Low Woods the other day.

Afterwards, Basil and I went to see Colin. Tea or Gin? Tea first I said. Then came too many gins.
