50th/60th birthday present...

Yes. Hubby and I share the same birthday.

The 27th of September (last week Thursday), we were 50 (yours truly) and 60 (himself).

Himself did not want a party, he wanted to go on holiday. Yours truly did not want a holiday, since yours truly has MAJOR teeth problems, which cost enough money.

SO! No party and no holiday. Instead, a quiet night in. But our dear neighbours could not resist and bought us flowers and chocolates, bless them. No pics of the chocolates, I'm afraid. All gone! ;)

But the flowers, my goodness! They are stunning Lillies and I just wish you could all smell the scent of them. Incredibly wonderful.
