Out with the old....

In with the new.

In our village woodland we have been thinning an Oak plantation.
A few weeks ago I blipped a photo of skilled woodland workers turning the Oak trunks into pieces suitable for fencing.

Now you can see the Green Oak fence. This replaces the old pailing fence some of which is still visible on a neighbouring property to the left.

The new fence is gaining favourable comment from passing walkers.
