Joy!

In our new charity shop ( obviously I have to check it out! ) I found this copy of a Josephine Tey book I haven't read. Her books were published in the 40s and are such a social history of a lifestyle and set of manners that don't exist anymore. She's a crime writer who writes in the style Minette Walters uses now. Psychological thrillers which are very readable. Sooooo exciting to find one I haven't read. Hope everyone had a great weekend. I spent the day clearing and I mean by that emptying all my wardrobe and drawers and cupboards of clothes shoes and anything else I don't wear or use. Very satisfying but there is a frighteningly large pile to go to the charity shop!
