Still some Autumn colour

Tidying up day and nothing much else.This shot is taken in a field that we used to farm many years ago.It contains two large bore holes said to be about six hundred feet deep.The water board took it back many years ago and it has just been left.It has filled with young trees over that time.We used to have rhubarb growing at one end and it was a good early field for cauliflower followed by lettuce.

Now food production is of no importance to our increasingly urban focused governments we can see the new housing estates starting to creep closer covering fantastic farming land that is all greenbelt.Does it matter?Probably not.Nobody cares anyway.

Saw Lord Adonis on the news earlier this week talking of investing in the north and so moving investment away from London.The area he was talking about included Oxford,Milton Keynes and Cambridge.Perhaps he needs a geography lesson.This is not the north. Politicians are notoriously dim but this is poor even by their standards.Shower of sh_te the lot of them.
