To Hybrid or not to Hybrid?

It's possibly about time to look at a new car. I'm wondering about getting a hybrid. They are a bit more expensive but are cheaper to run, and the emissions are much more favourable. Whatever, this car was really nice to drive; smooth and quiet. We'll have to see.
