Autumn leaves

Bus, train to Manchester, train to Euston, a pendolino and I felt a bit sick, slept a lot, then tube and a final train to Stanstead airport, shuttle to hotel!

A walk around the area to stretch our legs: dark by now and it’s just a service station with a McDonalds, an M&S food store, a Starbucks and two hotels! Many cars! Not very exciting! We have decided to eat in the hotel.

The photos were few, but I liked these autumn leaves taken when the final train stopped for a few minutes. All the way south, the countryside was beautiful. This last train travelled beside a canal and at one point there was an area with lots of narrow boats! It also sped by lakes as the sun was starting to set! We do live in a beautiful world!
