A rose by any other name

Another picture from Lover’s Loan; in daylight this time.

This poor wee rose is growing strong and proud through the three lines of barbed wire on top of this wall. I don’t know what experience of intruders this house has had before, but at sometime the owners have gone nuclear, trying to keep people out in an ugly and brutal fashion.

But Kudos to them for softening it a bit with a pretty (but equally spiked) flower.
