It was a very interesting afternoon with 3 lectures, one by dr. Yvonne van Zeeland (food for thought, about parrots in the wild and how they search for food which can be a good example for our own birds with lots of fouraging tips), one about what Hope for Wings (rescue & updates) does and why it is so needed and the last one by avian vet Hedwig van der Horst. She is specialized in birds and treats ONLY birds. She told us everything about how she examens a bird illustrated with some examples and diseases. Need to go back to that pet shop anothre time, they have many stuff for our birds. I was there years ago and they grew in space and in stuff they sell!
