Spooky!

I guess maybe I should have blipped something like this on Halloween, but I didn't have it available then. But I thought I'd have a bit of fun with it today.

I decided that it was high time I raked the autumn leaves off the lawn. Since we're lucky enough to have a large lawn (which I gather many years ago was a tennis court) it does take a wee while - although I'm nearly finished it now. I know I could use a leaf blower but I reckon that the exercise should do me good and might stave off the ravages of old age for a little longer. (I do have a garden vac/blower but I keep that for the leaves on the gravel drive.)

So today I filled 9 black bin bags with leaves (why does the Council decide to stop garden waste collections in early November? - just before the majority of the leaves are ready for clearing up!) It struck me that it might make quite an effective photo if I waited until dark and then buried a couple of torches near the top of the knotted bag. I quite like the mysterious evil eye effect...hope it doesn't give anyone nightmares!
