The Gates

These gates lead to the very beautiful Tudor Sawston Hall -with an amazing history.  The house has three priest holes and is purported to be haunted by Mary Tudor .  I remember going round in once  with a member of the Huddleston family and I even arranged a company dinner dance in the 70's.  Sadly the family sold it in the 80's and it is  now in private ownership and I couldn't  even get more tiny glimpse of it through the adjacent churchyard hedge!
