Yarnbombing

I have seen photos of 'yarnbombing' elsewhere, but not locally. I think it is rather fun if it cheers up boring street furniture - railings, lamp-posts etc but I really don't think trees need embellishment, nature is beautiful as it is. At least this is quite minor - just things dangling rather than completely covering the trunk or branch which would affect the feeding and habitat of the birds and insects which need access to the bark.
