'Seven Tears'
Another busy day in Edinburgh.
On the way into Edinburgh from the hotel we got of to visit the Edinburgh Art shop for some more supplies. There was an Artobotic so we had a go and got a little Artwork by Celie Byrne (daughter of John).
From there we went to Waterstones bookshop.
Next to National Gallery Modern One to see the exhibitions NOW with work by Susan Philipsz, Michael Armitage, Yto Barrada, Kate Davis, Hiwa K, Sarah Rose.My blip is of one of the images by Susan Philipz.
The other exhibition was Picture Hooks which showed work by book illustrators and the people who had mentored them in a year long project. Some lovely stuff.
We had lunch in Modern One's cafe.
Next The Nation gallery and the exhibition Ages of Wonder: Scotland's Art 1540 to Now.
We focused very much on the now section.
Next to the Fruitmarket Gallery for coffee and the exhibition Right here among them, the work of Jacqueline Donachie.
The Christmas Market with all the fun of the fair was being constructed at an amazing rate during our visit all along Princes Street Gardens.
