Warning
By this time of year, most venomous reptiles have found themselves nice, cozy nooks deep underground, especially since overnight temperatures are now regularly under 60°/16°. The unfortunate thing is that we've experienced a lot of record, or near record, highs over the last couple of weeks (around 90°/32°).
The record for Thursday (Thanksgiving Day) was recorded in 1917 at 87°. The forecast is one degree higher than that.
These really abnormal highs can be keeping the ground warmer than usual so there could be rogue venomous reptiles hanging around. I guess I should still watch my step.
