Cambodian Countryside

Shared a horse cart with a couple of Australian women and went out into the countryside near Siem Reap.  The area is not overrun with tourists, so the locals are very friendly and welcoming.  

This house, our driver told us, is a rich person's house. There were some larger, but most more like shacks on stilts.  Everything was very wet and muddy because of the recent heavy rains.  Lots of children, cows, oxen and puppies about but didn't manage to get any good pictures as I had to hang on so as not to get thrown out of the cart with every pothole!
