Starting the day with sunshine

Glorious beech leaves
Sun-kissed copper loveliness
Take my breath away.

Unlike yesterday, today started off with sunshine which may or may not last, so it seemed the perfect moment to take my camera to the park to capture the lingering leaves in the morning sunlight.

I was not disappointed, some of the beech trees, in the more protected areas, still have some beautiful leaves on their branches.

I always feel that sunshine and a good splash of colour is quite the perfect way to start a new day, especially on Monday it seems!
