Today I've mostly....

...been fitting the banister to the stairs. I say "I" but Tony did as much, if not more than me. It's quite a fiddly job for none professionals so the fact we didn't get it finished in one day isn't so bad. Fixing the base rails, then hand rails and measuring and cutting all the spindles and spacers precisely makes time disappear. I'll hopefully crack on during the evenings in the coming week.

I worked up until the point my mom and dad arrived for dinner with my sister trailing behind as always. Claire cooked a great Lasagne and we all had a good catch up.
