Winter is coming...

Grey's Mare's Tail was looking great today in the frosty sunshine.  All the way up the hillside were areas that the sheep had worn away to make protected areas to sleep.  On this one an icicle had formed - winter is coming!

If you look carefully you can see my red jacket reflected in the ice.  The icicle is dangling from some heather roots - what a hardy plant!
