Mono Monday - Festive

At the risk of being totally "bah, humbug", which I tend towards at this time of year, here's a nod to the upcoming festival of commercialmas. The marvellous money tree™ is bedecked in glittering lights, as we abandon any remaining hint of the old traditions and throw cash at the altar of consumerism.

Heh, what a miserable old curmudgeon I am. Of course, for some the season is more about the rebirth of the Sun, or the Son, depending on one's spiritual path of choice. And I thoroughly enjoy the time of family and feasting as the darker days of winter are honoured. But it's not even December yet... and I loathe shopping.
