Beech Leaves

We didn't have anyone in the lodge this week so it was ready for this afternoon's arrivals.All I had to do was pop along with a pint of milk to put in the fridge for them.

That gave us some spare time after lunch to have a drive down to Ullswater. I know the beeches usually look good mid November but I suspected that, while we had been away, the trees may have been left almost bare. I was right!
