Velvet shank
Not a lot of cheery wildlife at the nature reserve in steady drizzle this morning, but it's always nice to find fresh fungi like this glistening in the wet conditions. I think this is the common Flammulina velutipes and not Flammulina fennae, which was new to the UK when found at the reserve by the Bucks Fungus Group a couple of years ago. I must find out how to tell the difference!
