Sodden leaves

How different the garden looked today from last week! It rained hard first thing, then turned to drizzle. The autumn colours looked good in the wet too, but I decided to do something a bit different, partly because the gardeners started to harvest materials for Christmas wreaths this morning. This year, that seemed to involve cutting down whole holly bushes, and then dragging them to form a heap near the crescent bed and silver birch. So I'm glad I blipped them when I did.
