Bowbridge Lock

More exciting than it seems, because in the past year the former warehouse has been demolished and a new block of flats erected. The bridge, too, has had a 1970s concrete infill removed. The towpath is open again from the town end.

I walked to work from Waitrose, after meeting a customer there, to hand over some advent calendars. While I was waiting, I bumped into an old friend. We've agreed to meet up properly some time, probably in about a month's time when I'm on holiday.
