(A back blip)
Just before we left Kauai for the long journey home there was just time to watch these two on the beach as darkness fell.  (The extra shows dances on a previous evening)  It was a very different holiday from those we normally have with the constant warmth and sunshine and it was a real pleasure to be able to swim in the warm sea and watch spinner dolphins, flying fish and green sea turtles and to see different birds and beautiful tropical flowers.  It had been a most enjoyable time and experience especially learning about the different cultures and seeing so many interesting sights as we celebrated my sister and her husband’s wedding anniversary.   However despite the weather, my favourite places to stay on holiday remain the north and west of Scotland but it was good to see a very different and beautiful place.
