Talking Turkey

Today was the day my son always complains about how good the house smells----because I am baking a turkey and he doesn't get to eat any of it!  Every year our church provides turkey for the Baptist Community Center in Austin.  Women from our church cook the turkeys on Monday and bring them to the church on Tuesday to be carved up, ready to feed people on Thanksgiving.  This year, three generations of my family did a turkey for this project---my mom, my daughter and I each baked a turkey.  I am grateful that we have a chance to participate in service projects like this showing God's love to people in the community!
