Cardrona Reflections

The sun is rising pretty early these days, so I have been missing them.  After going to morning tea with my church friends, I went to the Cardrona River where I heard that the Californian Poppies and Lupins are looking great.  The main blip is looking towards the Ballantyne Road Bridge, while the extra is looking the other way, towards Mt Iron and Mt Maude.

It is very hot today, I did enjoy my walk this afternoon along the lake through the many trees that line the shore.  As usual, there were many people there, either sunbathing, swimming, or reading a book.  It sure is a beautiful sunny day.
