Gold on Diamonds

What a wonderful beautiful day - so lovely to see the sun again and to feel its warmth.

Took myself off to Rodley nature reserve for a wander and learnt a few things:
1. Fuschia pink isn't the best colour for camouflage
2. Small children are very annoying when they're allowed to run noisily into a hide
3. Other than swans, moorhens and ducks, I've no idea what I was looking for/at
4. I don't have the patience to be either a bird spotter or wildlife photographer, as if there wasn't anything immediately in view, flouncing its feathers, I got bored and wandered off.
5. October sunlight has an incredibly beautiful tone to it
