Snippets......

At the moment of writing, I'm sitting under some sort of bbq grill arrangement at the hairdressers, waiting for my highlights to cook (no, I do not understand the technology behind it all.)

I'm having a lovely time, tuning in and out of the various conversations going on around me. The lady in the chair three down has just told her stylist that someone she knew was stabbed by his wife....with a lobster! And the bloke in the chair next to mine is talking about fox hunting (he's against it) and I'm A Celebrity (cruelty to cockroaches, apparently).

As for me, I'm looking in the mirror and wondering why my granny is staring back at me.....
