G'day mate...

I've had the morning off from work to attend a hospital appointment which went ok. On leaving the hospital I was asked the most random question i've ever been asked - the conversation went like this;

Random middle aged lady: Excuse me, are you Australian?

Me: (In Scottish accent) No.

Random middle aged lady: Are you sure?

Me: Fairly sure, why?

Random middle aged lady: Oh you just look it thats all...cheerio.

I don't get a few things about this. The first being what do Australians look like? Why did I look particularly Australian today and what the hell did my nationality have to do with her. I wasn't wearing my cork hat today so i'm left utterly confused.

Anyways, i'm off to see The Buzzcocks in Glasgow soon, and according to Buzzcocksfan they have been fantastic so that should be very good! It's also proper snowing here just now so I can't wait to finish work and get out in it!
