"That was a big one!"

A grey and damp day and the feeders were busy with sparrows and Blue, Great and Coal Tits. This male blackbird was enjoying the hawthorn berries, he had a go at this berry then brought it back out and repositioned it to swallow - it must have been a big one!

I'd really have liked to blip a screenshot but it would infringe Blipfoto's copyright rules. My son Shropshirelad appeared on TV this morning on BBC Business at 5.30 am talking about Easy Jet. I didn't see his email informing me but luckily he sent me a link to it. I was a very proud mum!!
