I have a big trip planned for the New Year and today went to the Tanzanian Embassy to get the visas sorted. An inconvenience but I can't be without my passport for 2 weeks.

I though a visit to London zoo was in order whilst waiting for the processing. I can't ever remember going there before and whilst I am a lover of animals I am not a fan of zoos. I did enjoy it but just can't accept big cats in enclosures, it's just wrong. Birds in aviaries aren't great either. Oh dear, beginning to think I shouldn't have gone !

Anyway I did like the emerald tree boa, the say no evil monkey, penguins  and pink pelican :-)
