Bright morning

Leaves fluttered down from the trees in the light wind adding to the thick blanket of rain soaked leaves. It seems to rain fairly heavily most nights at the moment, leaving the days clear for dog walks.
I liked the stretching branches of these trees, now more or less bereft of leaves, it's encouraging to see mature trees growing sturdily between the houses on the estates given how many are currently being lost.
