Camellias are already blooming!

I got back to my regular Tuesday morning bowling league today..it was great seeing all my bowling buddies again but I can't say my bowling was great..that ball was heavier than it used to be!   

On the way home after lunch, I decided to drive by the park to see if the camellias were blooming yet..I did not think they would be but still.  So I parked and as I turned around I could see that at least one bush of white camellias were in full bloom.   But around the corner were two pink and white blooms.   I got very close for the pink so that it was mostly blurred (since I took about 20 photos of the white and the all the buds on the bush).  

There were plenty of buds on the other bushes so in a couple of weeks I will make another trip to the park.

Remember that camellia bush my friend Danny gave me in exchange for some leftover food.  It is still thriving in the backyard and I think I see a place where it might be getting a bud.   Of course, Danny is the person that looked after our house and kept my petunias blooming and my Thanksgiving cactus bloom for my welcome home.    I am sure that bush knew he was in the yard!
