visited the Millenial Garden at Pensthorpe today before heading back home. It isn't the ideal time of year for garden viewing but it was created by Piet Oudolf, famous for his 'prairie style' planting  and I tried to use some of his ideas in planting  my own garden a few years ago. There were still some interesting grasses and seedheads but the flowers have all gone now. Will have to plan a return visit in the summer.
