SEA LIONS, SUN LONGERS AND EARLY NIGHTS

To the safari park with the VIP. I am ambivalent about viewing animals in captivity. The VIP wasn't particularly interested in them, although he did like the elephants' size and wrinkled, baggy skin. He had great fun on the pirate ship and playing in the sand. The sun was warm, the crowds were happy and most of the animals seemed OK. I was pleased to see the sea lions were equipped with sun loungers by their pool, and that the sun loungers even had little head rests that were much appreciated by the occupants.

GOOD THINGS:
The lovely warmth of the October sun
The VIP being so happy
Bedtime (the VIP's bedtime arrived only minutes before mine)
