Roslin.
I took delivery of a new toy today, a filter that covers the red end of the visible spectrum down into the infrared. I’ve seen some spectacular results with these things with scenes including red subjects. Maybe it’s more useful in the spring and summer, but I had to give it a quick try in the Scottish drizzle.
In the unlikely event that someone likes the effect I’ve stumbled across, it only works on a full spectrum camera. If you still have the standard filter on the sensor if just looks like a red filter; if you have the standard 720 nm replacement filter, then the sensor can’t see the red.
