Backblip day #1of our trip to Athens.

Yes, we made it. :-)
As soon as T. was on her bus to school, we hurried to to airport for our flight to Athens. It was a pleasant flight over the clouds. Only the alps were above them.
In Athens we took to bus to the city to get a first impression.
Our hotel was in Omonia. That is cental, but not the "best" quarter
There is a sort of Turkish and Arabic subculture and it is strange to walk thought the smal streets. The Athens people don't like it.
But it was the start of our discovery tour through Athens. The poverty there seems to be more realistic than the tourist centres.
