Breakfast at Cafe Thyme

As I do not have any work today until this evening, we decided to go to Bishop’s Stortford for breakfast and a walk. Today’s picture is my breakfast, toast and butter rather than anything more, because I wanted a piece of the gluten-fee caramel and chocolate cake that I had seen on the Café Thyme FaceBook page.

After a leisurely breakfast where my husband chatted for a while to someone he worked with many moons ago, we walked along the towpath and through the castle gardens before getting some odds and ends before returning home.

It is very windy today and looks as though it might rain.
