Shapes of the past

In this view from the rooftop of our building we can see unexcavated pyramids that are probably part of Monte Alban, a large archaeological site that is located at the opposite end of this ridge. 
We can only imagine what's beneath the surface and the lives of the Zapotec people who lived there.
