The Journey.

What a wild, wet day it has been - absolutely torrential rain and incredibly strong winds all day. It may be unseasonably mild but I'd sooner wrap up warm in freezing bright conditions than contend with that treat ;-)

Today I began putting up my class winter display which is based on The Journey, the Christmas advert of John Lewis many years ago. The one where the snowman overcomes many an obstacle to buy a gift for the snowlady! We enjoyed making these together as a class, cutting out snowflakes to put on the circular body, covering the scarf, hat and bow tie using wool and tissue paper. We also made hearts for each and created a mouth and eyes using buttons! Lots more to be added but it's a start :-)
