House of the Trembling Madness

Another day sightseeing and a bit of shopping. Took a boat trip on the River Ouse and sitting up top certainly 'blew the cobwebs away'!

I love the unusual, quirky shops in York and particularly liked The Imaginarium where we bought a few Christmas presents. My husband wanted to visit "House of the Trembling Madness" which is a specialist beer shop and pub upstairs. We were lucky to get seats as it is always busy, we spent an hour people watching and drinking mulled wine/unusual beers!
