Around the World in 80 Days.

In July 2017 Mark Beaumont set off to cycle around the World in 80 Days - he beat his target, doing it in 78 days 14hrs 40 minutes and broke several World records along the way. We followed Mark and his phenomenal support team on social media throughout. We managed to get tickets for the Innovation Nation - Endurance lecture this evening at Edinburgh International Conference Centre, the latest in the Innovation Nation winter programme. He was interviewed by Claire English and was accompanied by his mother Una, who is usually his base camp director. Several of his crew and sponsors were in the audience and one of his 80 Days endurance bikes was on stage. It was an excellent and interesting event covering tales from the road trip and other previous adventures. He has just signed a book deal this morning and a TV documentary is in production for 2018.
